Central and Local Government

Regaining Trust (and customers) in an uncertain world

The Governments data handling review has highlighted the need to increase citizen confidence in the use of government systems and to rebuild trust amongst citizens to use government services. Unless online services are actively protected from online vulnerabilities these services will be poorly used and open to abuse, further eroding trust.

The First Cyber Security technology, not only confirms the sites identity when you first visit a web page, but continually checks throughout your whole online experience. As you surf through the pages of the website citizens are able to continually monitor the websites authenticity by glancing at an 'always on top' window containing the logo of the site they are visiting.

Phishing emails (such as those that have been appearing to offer tax rebates) will be automatically redirected to the authentic site ensuring that the citizen never actually reaches the phishing site where their personal details would be at risk

First Cyber Security are delighted to have been awarded Government Gateway Approved Partner (GGAP) status as part of the Cabinet Office initiative to promote Transformational Government. Government has to be proactive in encouraging the safe use of these new online services, we believe that the use of S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® technology from First Cyber Security is an innovative cost effective way of increasing trust.

For those government and law enforcement organisations who are responsible for the 'Policing of the Internet', ensuring inappropriate websites are not viewed or accessed by those who might be harmed or exploited by their content, S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® has the ability to obstruct access to those sites, by either governmental or parental control. This extension to the standard S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® service can be easily accommodated and is transparent to those using the internet.

Our system really does takes 3 seconds to learn how to use. Click here to find out more about how it works.
